The image to the right comes from Robert Kiyosaki’s book “The Cash Flow Quadrant” and represents the four ways people make money in today’s world.

The left side of the quadrant represents Employed and Self Employed. In both these cases, people trade time for money. A person works for an hour and earns an hour’s wage. He or She must show-up to earn their pay.

The right side represents Business Owners and Investors. Business Owners have a system that works for them and Investors have money that works for them. These people do not necessarily have to show-up to earn their pay. They do something once and get paid over and over again for their effort.

The left side of the quadrant is where 95% of the people are and 5% of the world’s money is made and the right side is where 5% of the people are and 95% of the world’s money is made!
